A few years ago, one British supermarket created “talking tables” in their store cafés as a way to foster connection between people. Those looking for human interaction simply seat themselves at a table designated for that purpose, joining others or indicating a desire to be joined. Conversation ensues, providing a sense of connection and community.
This grocery store figured out what God has already told us. We need human connection. We are designed that way.
This past year has made that harder. We have had to be creative in how we connect. While it hasn't been the same and we are all looking forward to when it can be, it has been even more imperative.
Fellowship provides friendship, comfort, encouragement, motivation, wisdom, forgiveness, acceptance and love. Let's never forget the importance and power in that!
Hoping to see you on this Friday's Zoom!
