If we were all wearing one of these bracelets right now, I wonder what color it would show?
You can't live in this world without encountering stressful situations.
But as Lou Holtz once said, "It’s not the load that breaks you down, it’s the way that you carry it. "
The greatest weapon we have against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another. ~ William James
Instead of trepidation, let's choose to trust in the Lord (Psalm 37:3).
Instead of despair, let's choose to delight in the Lord (Psalm 37:4).
Instead of conceding defeat, let's choose to commit your way to the Lord (Psalm 37:5).
Instead of striving, let's choose to be still before the Lord (Psalm 37:7).
Instead of hopelessness, let's choose to hope in the Lord (Psalm 37:9).
Why? Because he promises a safe pasture (Psalm 37, v.3), the desires of our hearts (v.4), righteous rewards and vindication (v.6), and an inheritance of the promised land (v.9).
Let's not let the load break us, let's choose to let Him carry it.
