That's why it's important to remember where our hope really lies. Jesus promised us that there would be trouble in this world; but He also promised us that in Him we would find peace.

In the midst of trying to determine whose election promises we trust more, let's remember some of the promises of the all-powerful One who never changes, is always steadfast and true, and will never leave us.
Come to me all you who are weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest.
