A good four-wheel drive system applies just the right amount of traction to each wheel as needed, via a system that transmits mechanical power to each wheel from a centralized drive shaft. Just as we wouldn’t go off-roading in a little sports car; nor should we be trying to conquer the twists, turns, hills and ditches of this life without God. When our life and hope are centered on God, He will not only help us identify which road to take…
Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don't try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he's the one who will keep you on track. (Proverbs 3:5-6 MSG)
…but provide the power and traction we need to handle whatever that road brings.
He lifted me out of the ditch,
pulled me from deep mud.
He stood me up on a solid rock
to make sure I wouldn't slip. (Psalm 40:2 MSG)
As we move forward in our journey this week, let's face our fears, uncertainties, confusion by looking to and trusting in God; and move on in faith.
Remember, God is there to support you through His powerful Spirit.
When the going gets tough, tough men turn to God. ~ Russ Cadle
